This unique but simple man's top is made of the leaf hair fibers from Gerbera delavai, also called Chinese fireweed in both warp and weft (14 x 6 th/cm). The yarn is evenly and finely spun, but after prolonged use the fibers have sort of fused together in the fabric, now soft and velvet like. The top has been sewn together of narrow fabric widths, 15 centimeters, with fine and rustic hand stitches. The black fabric strip around the neckline is made commercial cotton.
