Pua kumbu, or textile weaving, is among the oldest arts of Malaysia's Sarawak province of Borneo most notably the Iban, the largest indigenous group. This book, 111 pages in English combines history with an exhibition catalogue demonstrating the dyes, patterns, history, and tradition of this venerated art form. The book is richly illustrated, most photographs are in color plates.
