This extremely fine fabric of one width, is made of home-grown and hand-spliced hemp yarn, woven in tabby (13 x 11-12 tr/cm). The hand-drawn indigo batik is also very fine and detailed. The fabric has previosly been a part of a traditional pleated Hmong skirt.
