This strong but soft fabric is a typical, simple, and traditional Ukraine pillowcase, made of home-grown and home-spun hemp, woven in twill (12 x 12 th/cm) on a cotton warp. The fabric is made of two weaving widths, hand sewn together with rustic stitches. The woven pattern is of cotton yarn.
