The fabric in this robe is made of home-grown and home-spun raw cotton which contains tiny remains of seed husks, and it is natural beige in color, woven in tabby (17 x 13 th/cm). The fabric has characteristic red warp stripes, typical of the region. The robe has been sewn together with rustic stitches of mainly two fabric widths, and smaller pieces for sleeves, and chest area. The embroidery on the back is sewn from commercial cotton yarn and it represents the tree of life.
