This rustic and simple top is made from home-grown and home-spun hemp, woven on a back-strap loom in a quality of 8 x 7 tr/cm. The narrow fabric have been sewn together by hand with coarse stitches, and he neckline is fitted with a blue cotton band. However, textile made by the Sani people, who live at high latitudes in Yunnan province in China are not uncommonly made of mixed materials of hemp and leaf fibers from Chinese fireweed (Gerbera delavai), but this item is made of only hemp.
