The upper part of this dress is characteristic for Ukraine. The neckline and the end of the sleeve are strongly pleated with fine embroidered details. The upper part is made of home-grown flax, home-spun and woven into a fabric of 16 x 20 tr/cm. Fine needlework on the sleeves, as well as around the neck and cuffs. The lower part was repaired with two different patches, one smaller woven of rustic cotton yarn, and one larger woven of factory-made flax yarn.
