Romanian hemp and cotton bedspread

Romania, Transylvania. The fabric it self has likely been woven in the first half of 1900s. But the fabric and panel were probably sewn together into a bedspread around 1990.

In meters: Width 1,20  length: 1,67 (without lace). Panel 0,30 (without lace) x 1,20.

Fine base fabric and panel. Has been washed. One tiny rusty stain on the lace, and an almost invisble bigger stain, near one fabric edge. The different parts have been sewn together relatively carelessly into a bedspread without much finesse. The value lies in the traditional base fabric and the kilim panel, both characteristic of the region.
